Thanks for stopping by! I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself….
I wanted to start this blog to share a little about myself and the beautiful life I live.
I married Daniel, my high school sweetheart, on May 30, 2015. We had a dreamy Kentucky wedding, then packed up and moved to the Midwest. The Midwest was not my cup of tea. Almost a year to the day later, we bought our first home and planted our roots in our small Kentucky hometown.
I am a Speech Language Pathologist working in an outpatient clinic mainly treating children with moderate to profound articulation and language disorders. I love my job, but struggle with finding time for life outside of work.
In my free time, I love try to snuggle my rescue kitties, Harper and Patsy, decorate and/ or avoid cleaning the house, shop online sales, stalk my favorite celebrities on social media, bake unhealthy desserts, Pin diet ideas, and show up at my parents’ house unannounced.
My husband is a high school teacher and football coach. I think our house may be supporting the NFL on its own.
While D. watches football day and night, I find myself spending too much time scrolling through social media. It seems as if all bloggers are perfect…rich, skinny, perfect hair, beautiful make up… They make it hard for a girl to feel adequate! My goal is to run blog for us “normal” girls! I hope to share the ups and downs that come my way with you!
This pulls me from my comfort zone, so bear with me!
